You can write your assigned Member ID number and the toll free number on backpacks, keychains, medical alert
bracelets. The ICE (In Case of Emergency) Program encourages everyone to list an emergency contact number in their cell phones under ICE. Police Officers across the country have been trained to look for an ICE number in cell phones. Listing the Toll Free number under ICE gives a much greater chance that someone will be contacted since you can list up to 5 contacts; we take care of the rest! Our Check-In/Check-out Systems can either replace or enhance Life Alert monitoring systems for people living alone. Unlike the "push the button" alerts that require someone to be lucid or conscious, our system works even if someone has become incapacitated. And while there is nothing that can replace a human being's constant presence, depending on each individual's needs, whichever Check-In/Out system is chosen it will ensure a minimal amount of time before help will arrive, either in the form of a neighbor, close by friend or however you want the system set up.
How the Internet Based Check-in/Out system works:
Every morning, an e-mail is sent to the client to remind them to check in
Every evening, another e-mail is generated to remind the client to check-out.
We can see all clients that are checked in or out. If someone fails to check in or out within the time parameters set, we attempt telephone contact. If we cannot establish contact with the client, we then contact that persons list of people to call. If requested, we will also contact the local 911 .
If your loved one has fallen and cannot get to a
phone or is unconscious and cannot push a button,
our system will make sure someone will show up
when contact cannot be established.
This is also ideal for outdoors activity enthusiasts!
Hikers, boaters, snowmobilers etc. that may go out
on their own can leave notes and itineraries that will
assure someone will come looking if they don't
make it home. Just think, if the hiker that was forced to cut off his own arm after it got stuck in a boulder had simply left an itinerary he would have been found quickly.

In Florida, the tragic death of Tiffany Olson resulted in "Tiffany's Law " which gives citizens the ability to list two emergency contact numbers in their drivers license database. Our automated daily phone call system is designed for people not connected to the internet and those who prefer a phonecall for themselves or their loved ones to make sure all is well. If a call is not answered, Pets Guardian will alert the Member's list of contacts, including 911 if desired.
