What happens to your pets, if something happens to you, and you're unable to make it home to care for them?

Is the safety and well being of your pets worth $4/month?

An enjoyable "day trip" for you, can end in a nightmare for both you and your pets, if you are in an auto accident, or any other unforeseen event occurs which prevents you from getting home.   Who will know to care for your pets, and how will they be contacted? Every year pets are left alone when their human companions are unable to make it home.

It can be days, or even longer, before the proper contacts are made and the animals are once again being cared for.

How long should an animal go without being fed, watered or walked?

Is one day too long?

"Pets Guardian" was established as a way of ensuring your pets will never be left alone should something happen and you're unable to make it home.

We do this by registering a list of your friends, neighbors, family and pet professionals such as your pet sitter, that will be contacted for you should the need arise, even if you are unable to communicate.  When a first responder calls the toll free number on the emergency wallet cards or auto decals provided, we begin contacting the people you have listed with us, to let them know your animals are home alone and need to be cared for.

Because you can list up to 5 people, you can feel confident that someone we contact will be available to care for your pets. We do everything possible to alert your support network.

In Florida, you can add emergency contact information to your Drivers License database.  By adding Pets Guardian phone number to that database, you can know for sure that our service will be contacted by the Police in case of an Emergency.

When an incident occurs and someone is incapacitated, emergency personnel are trained to look for information that can help the victim. Help these rescuers to help your pets, by providing them the tools they need.

Well meaning neighbors and friends may wish to "watch out" for you, but with everyones lives being so busy, you need a professional service to do the job.

Don't leave your pet's well -being to chance, or hoping that someone will pay attention that you haven't made it home.  Their lives depend on you, and the preparations you've made.

We advise building a relationship with a professional pet-sitter.  These are the people that will know your pets, their diets, their habits and most of all, will have access to your home.  If you don't already have a pet-sitter, you may find one by contacting the following professional associations:

National Association of Professional Pet Sitters www.petsitters.org

Pet Sitters International   www.petsit.com

Or:

Call your local Veterinarian, Pet Groomer, or other petcare professional  for referrals to petsitters in your area.
