With eveyone's lives being so busy, it's unreasonable to expect friends and neighbors to remember to watch over you and your pets. Pets Guardian is a professional service-it's our job to follow thru and ensure your pet's safety.
When you register with Pets Guardian, you will receive 2 wallets cards, two Auto Decals and 2 Home Decals. The Wallet cards are designed to catch the attention of First Responders. We even include a resealable crystal clear card holder to insert both your Drivers License and Emergency Card, ensuring First Responders will have the Toll Free number at their fingertips. Emergency Personnel are trained to look for emergency aids such as this. Make it easy for them to assist you...with only one number to call, they can concentrate on the task at hand; saving your life or home.
Our Wallet Cards deliberately say nothing about pets. A first responder is there to render aid to a victim, not to be a pet sitter. If pets are mentioned as the reason to call, it could discourage that call needed to save them.
While Pets Guardian was initially designed with the "away from home" owner in mind, the "stay at home" owners need a safety net too! Pet owners living alone could easily have a home accident (according to safety statistics, home accidents are the major cause of hospitalizations!) If you have a "slip & fall" and become unconscious, the typical Emergency Alert button systems don't do any good, since you need to be conscious and able to push a button to summon help. Or, if you are participating in an activity such as hiking, boating, skiing, snowmobiling etc. where you could become incapacitated alone, the Pets Guardian Check-in/Check-Out system assures help will arrive when there is a failure to check into the Monitored system.
We offer two different check in systems, both fully automated and monitored:
However, the Pets Guardian home signs give Firemen and other emergency First Responders the information they need to save your pets. We've all heard the stories of brave fire rescuers removing animals from burning homes...many Fire Companies even carry oxygen masks designed specifically for pets!
Unfortunately, if owners are not present at the time of the emergency, many animals end up being taken to the local Animal Care & Control facilites. It is never a good idea for your pets to be exposed to the diseases that run rampant thru the public facilities. With a Pets Guardian Home Sign, your pets have a better chance of ending up at the right place, not the wrong one, because there is a number for the rescuers to call. When Pets Guardian receives that call, the designated care-takers are contacted to take in the pets until the owner is available. .
OUR INTERNET E-MAIL
BASED SYSTEM
Every morning our clients receive an e-mail to remind them to check in with Pets Guardian...every evening another e-mail is generated to remind them to check-out. (The system can be adjusted to accept one check in per day). If a Member fails to check in or out within their personal parameters, we call the Member. If we are unable to establish contact, we call the emergency contacts on the Member's list. Ideal for active people. Notes and itineraries can be left on this system and can be utilized even if out of the country on business or vacation. People at home will be notified if a problem arises.
DAILY PHONE CALL(S)
Our automated daily phone call system is designed for people not connected to the Internet and prefer that they, or their loved ones, receive a daily call to make sure all is well. If a call is not answered, Pets Guardian will notify the Member's contact list, including 911 if desired.
We strongly encourage clients to place pet tags with our toll free number and ID number on their pets collar. If your pet gets separated from their home and someone finds them, all they need to do is call our Toll Free number and we will call not only you, but your contacts as well, ensuring someone will be available to make sure your pet gets reunited as quickly as possible with you. You may simply order pet tags from any source you wish and have the Toll Free number and your ID# inscribed on them. We recommend
